There are multiple ways to view the photos that you have uploaded in NeatClubs.COM. Views include:
Additionally Photo Collections can be set to display in a slideshow embedded into the home page of the web-site. (See the Home Page settings under "System Setup" / "Preferences" (shown below).
Normally, when users click on the “Photo Gallery” menu option, they will see the Photo Gallery view (pictures displayed as thumbnails). If you had previously viewed photos in a different mode, the system will remember this however, and show you that same view again. This default viewing preference will be reset every time a user logs in (or after a session expires)
The Gallery mode is a useful way to present a subset of all of the photos that you have uploaded to your web-site. When a visitor clicks on an individual photo, they will see a pop-up with photos enlarged in the Film Strip View. Photos that you upload may not appear in the photo gallery immediately. The Photo Groups that appear in the photo gallery are configured in "System Setup" / "Categories & Definitions" “Gallery Groups”. Using Gallery Groups makes it easy to change the collections of photos that will be displayed from week to week without needing to manually change web-pages. You can change the photo collections visible in the photo gallery any time - even daily to keep the gallery fresh. An example of the Gallery view is shown below.
To view the photo gallery in “List Mode”, you can scroll down to the bottom of the photo gallery, and select the web-link “View Photo Library in List Mode”. As an alternative you can select "Photo Gallery" / "View / Edit Photos" while logged in. When you select “List Mode”, a list of photos will appear as shown below. This is the view of the photo collection that allows you to modify photos or remove individual photos or graphics.
At the top of this screen, administrators can filter the images that they want to look review. This is helpful as the photo collection grows to include large numbers of photos. For example, to select images where the description of the image or the filename includes a particular keyword, check the keyword box, enter the keyword (making sure that any other check marks that might filter the photo collection further are unchecked) and click the filter button. This photo listing will appear again with only the photos containing the provided keyword.
“Quad Mode” shows a different view of the photos. In quad Mode, four pictures are shown at a time, and the pictures are shown in a larger size. To view the pictures in quad Mode check the “Quad” indicator and click "filter". You will see a screen similar to the one shown below.
Film Strip mode shows a collection of photos with a scrolling photo list across the bottom as shown below. Clicking on a picture results in it occupying the larger display area. Film Strip mode is invoked displayed when a user click on a picture in the Photo Gallery, or when they click on the title of a photo collection in the Photo Gallery.
The large photo view is a good option when you want to simply display a list of reasonably large photos. An example of this view is shown below.
