The Clublink Database Field Structure

The table below shows the labels of fields as they appear on Clublink screens along with the underlying physical database fields names. (these "Clublink DB Field" names are not normally visible to Clublink users so they may be unfamiliar).

The database field names are important, because NeatClubs.COM needs to know how to map an incoming registration to the appropriate Clublink fields.  While clubs may "map" fields between NeatClubs.COM and Clublink in any manner that they choose, the mappings below are recommended. Our default Clublink compatible event definitions are based on this approach.

Field associations shown in green with the text "EVENT RECORD" refer to fields where we recommend that field associations be made at the event level.  This is because these fields are particular to a program participant, and this information is usually collected at the event level.  The registration fields in yellow ("MEMBER RECORD"), have more to do with the principal web-site account holder, so we recommend that these associations be made at the member database level.

NeatClubs.COM allows fields to be divided into categories to make sure that "like" data fields are presented on the registration form together. We have provided notes based on our experience working with Clublink specific to each registration field.

Based on this complete mapping of Clublink database fields below, we have developed a recommended field mapping that may be used repeatedly for registrations in NeatClubs.COM that need to be pasted into Clublink.
