Setup Featured Documents

Where documents are featured or not is a property that can be set in the document library.

While logged in as a system administrator, you can use the detailed document view to quickly indicate the documents that you would like to have appear in a featured documents side panel.

To make a document featured:

1. Click on Document Library on the side panel menu

2. Click on "Show the Detailed View" of the document library (if the document library is not already configured to show the detailed view). The default view that site visitors will normally see is a preference that is set related to the document library.

3. Click on the "Bell" icon to toggle the status of the document to make it featured or non-featured.

Before the featured documents side panel will appear, it must be enabled under System Setup / Website Layout & Preferences. See the section entitled "Side Panel Layout" for more information on how to ensure that the Featured Documents panel is enabled on your web-site.
