To manage a NeatClubs.COM website, you will need an administrator login account. By default, the username password is “admin” and the password for the site will have been communicated to you when the site was initially setup. Depending on how your website is configured, the login area may be visible on the side panel, across the top of the site, or there may be a small “Login” link visible on the footer of the page on the left hand site. Administrators can configure where the login element appears via the system setup as we'll see later on. Visitors are reminded that the system logs all IP addresses that access the website for security reasons. We'll see later in this manual that NeatClubs.COM maintains a system event log detailing what users have performed what actions on the system. This is useful in cases where multiple people are maintaining content simultaneously and a site administrator wants stay on top of "who is doing what" on the site. To gain access to the system, enter a valid username and password. Administrator passwords initially have the username “admin”, but this need not be the case - in fact we recommend that once you are comfortable with using the system you remove the "admin" account and setup your own login account with administrator privileges instead. Any account may be configured as an administrator account. Needless to say, you should be very careful about who you entrust your administrator password to.
After you have logged in to the site, the appearance will change slightly. The figure below shows the appearance of the site once a system administrator is logged in.
