Injecting Document Contents

Sometimes it is useful to be able to inject document contents at the top of a system generated page.

For example, if showing the system generated upcoming events listing (view_upcoming.php), if might be useful to display a short paragraph with some pre-amble text describing the nature of the events.

To inject the contents of document 123 above the calendar in the main content area, use the following URL reference:

http://mysite.com/view_calendar.php?inject_document=123

Documents can be injected into any NeatClubs.COM URL including other documents. Only one document can be injected at a time and injections will persist for only a single page load.

If viewing an injected document while logged in, convenience icons to edit the injected document's contents or properties may appear depending on document permissions.
