Identification / Account Creation |

For some event types, NeatClubs.COM will insist that you be "identified" to the system before you can proceed with a registration. For other registration types, you may register and even provide payment "anonymously" ("Contact Us" forms and "Donate to our Club" are good examples of forms that you may want to create where you want to minimize data entry and may not want to have someone go to the trouble of creating a profile on your system. If you are not logged in, you will see a registration screen similar to the one below. Depending on advanced event setup options, this may appear differently. As an example, clubs may want to allow only people with existing registration accounts to register in which case only the login area will appear and users will not be invited to create an account. In other cases events will have threshold dates after which they will accept registration. For example, registration may open to existing web-site account holders or members with passwords 60 days prior to session start and it may then be opened to the public 45 days before program start. In this case the "Create a Login Account" option would only function within 45 days of the start date of the registration event or class.
If someone does not already have an account, they can click the "Create a New Account" button. They will see a form similar to the one below that a registrant must complete before proceeding with registration. You can control the items that appear on this form including the names of sections, the labels beside each field, whether data items are mandatory and whether data fields appear on the form or not. You can also create new fields that have specific information to your organization. See the Database Field Setup section for information on how this is done.
If users are already logged in to the web-site, the system knows who they are - in this case they will not be asked to create a new account or login again - however they will be asked to confirm their personal information. An example is shown below.
This model makes registrations flexible. It is assumed that the same web-site account holder may want to register for several different types events. In the case of a professional organization or association these may be speaking events or seminars taking place on different dates. In the case of a parent registering their children for recreational programs, they may be registering multiple siblings for different programs or registering the same child for programs in multiple sessions. If we are outside the defined time period in which registrations are permitted, a screen like the one below will be presented. (In this example we have allowed only members to register starting 30 days before a program and we will allow non-members to register starting seven days prior to the program start date.
