Handling Multiple Classes per week |

Some organizations run classes that repeat multiple times per week. For example, an organizations might run 15 classes over a period of five weeks where the first class runs Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 5:00 PM and the second runs Tuesday, Thursday at 5:00 PM and Saturday at 2:00 PM. To deal with this added complexity, NeatClubs allows classes to be associated with one another in the class setup. For weekly classes the Class label fields are not normally used, but for classes that recur multiple times per week, setting the Class labels to the same value provides a way to indicate that the classes are associated with one another. The first time slot is assumed to be the "master" time slot for a class and registrations will appear against the master time slot. For additional weekly classes, the "Associate with time slot" value should be set to point to the time slot that is considered the "master". All registrations will be posted against the "master" time slot. The example above of two classes occur three times per week is shown below. I this example registrations for "Class 1" will show up in the "Monday 17:00" time slot while registrations for "Class 2" will all appear in the "Tuesday 17:00" time slot.
Note that Class 1 refers to the same Monday/Wednesday/Friday class whereas Class 2 refers to the Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday class. For purposes of managing registration capacity limits, all registrations against "Class 1" will be assumed to be associated with the Monday 5:00 PM class while all registrations for class two will be governed by the Tuesday 5:00 PM class. The schedule view will show how classes recur. People who are registering for the Wednesday or Friday "Class 1" classes are in effect registering for the Monday 5:00 PM class since all these classes are linked together.
