You can change the layout of side panel ads by selecting:
System Setup / Preferences / Appearance / Side Panels.
As shown below, for most side panel elements you can change:
a) whether the elements appears at all
b) Which side panel it appears on (Left or Right)
c) A numerical ranking value where lower number position ranks appear higher up the page
