The permissions that determine what member types are allowed to see what documents are included as a document property.
Sometimes it is useful to review these permissions for all documents.
NeatClubs.COM provides a "Bulk Doc Permissions" utility accessible under "System Setup" / "Utilities" when logged in as a web-site administrator.
When you access the Bulk Document Permissions utility, all documents will be displayed with check boxes indicating what member types have read access to these documents. (screen shot below). This allows permissions to be changed without the need to change the properties of every document individually.
The rows represent documents. The columns represent the member types defined under System Setup / Categories & Definitions / Member Types.
Checked items are visible to member assigned to these member types while those that are unchecked are not. public documents are visible to everyone.
When changes are made to document permissions, the status of the SQL operation against the database as well as the actual statement run is provided for diagnostic purposes.
